Step-by-Step File Guide
300 DPI Required
High resolution artwork produces cleaner prints, sharper details, smoother gradients, and better overall transfer quality.
Low resolution artwork may print blurry or pixelated.
PNG File Format Only
Transparent PNG files are preferred. No backgrounds. No PDF files. No screenshots or compressed social media images if possible.
Clean Artwork
Use clean original graphics whenever possible. Avoid blurry artwork, stretched logos, low-quality screenshots, or heavily compressed images.
Clean artwork results in cleaner transfers.
No AI or Checkerboard Backgrounds
Artwork should have a true transparent background. Do not leave fake transparency patterns, grainy AI cutouts, or checkerboard artifacts behind the design.
These can print unintentionally onto garments.
Correct Image Size
Submit artwork at the exact print dimensions needed to maintain print clarity and scaling accuracy.
Examples: 11" x 11", 12" x 16", 22" gang sheet width sizing.

Good artwork setup is the difference between a transfer that looks sharp and one that prints blurry, boxed-in, or difficult to press. Use this guide before sending files for DTF gang sheets, bulk t-shirt printing, custom hoodies, and rush local orders.
If your artwork is not ready yet, we can help clean it up, remove backgrounds, resize files, or build your gang sheet before production.
Most Common Artwork Problems
- Low Resolution: Screenshots, tiny logos, and compressed social images often print soft or pixelated.
- Fake Transparency: Checkerboard patterns and rough AI cutouts can print onto the garment if they are not truly transparent.
- Wrong Sizing: Artwork should be submitted at the final print dimensions whenever possible to prevent scaling issues.
